ACP Green Art Award Giorgio Andreotta Calò
ACP Green Art Award is the award founded in 2021 by ACP - Palazzo Franchetti and by the company Art Capital Partners, with the patronage of MITE - Ecological Transition Ministry, in order to catalyze proposals and creative energies on the urgent issue of preserving the planet and energy renewable. All to be assigned to an artist or a collective of artists who, working on sustainability issues, become an active tool for disseminating issues related to the great global challenges relating to the themes of clean water and sanitation, climate change, affordable and clean energy, sustainable city and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, all objectives also of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development of the United Nations. The winner of this first edition, selected by the jury of experts, is Giorgio Andreotta Calò, chosen for his ability to demonstrate in his artistic research the complex dialectic between anthropic and natural elements, the difficult and magnificent co-existence between man and nature. The works in competition will be visible in a dedicated exhibition inside ACP - Palazzo Franchetti, until November 27, 2022.
